Applied influence intelligence
Applied influence intelligence
The communication gap where Hjernevenligt works. Three tools — each addressing a different communication case — all built on the same engine: a multi-layer knowledge graph of psychological and social principles that maps how persuasion actually works.
Find your tool →We're all islands shouting lies to each other across seas of misunderstanding.
Rudyard KiplingThe Light That Failed
The great enemy of communication, we find, is the illusion of it.
William H. WhyteFortune, September 1950
As soon as we start putting our thoughts into words and sentences, everything gets distorted. We never understand each other.
Marcel DuchampThe Afternoon Interviews
The 5W model
"Who says what, in which channel,
to whom, with what effect."
Harold Lasswell — The Communication of Ideas, 1948
Who is the sender — the one with intent.
Says What is the message they compose to express it.
In Which Channel is the medium.
To Whom is the receiver.
With What Effect is whether the intent actually landed.
The sender and recipient are given. The gap lives between Says What and With What Effect — between how you try to say it and how it is received. That is exactly where PIMP, DIMS and Coach operate. All three work on the message. What separates them is In Which Channel — the component that determines everything about how a message lands.
The suite
DIMS diagnoses and reframes. PIMP composes and personalizes. Coach rehearses and prepares. Together — a systematic approach to influence from existing message to live spoken moment.
Sharpen a message that already exists — for a group, segment, or audience type you can describe but not individually name.
Build a message that doesn't exist yet — for one person, or a specific named group where every recipient is known.
Rehearse a live spoken moment before it counts — a pitch, a negotiation, a first meeting — with a simulated counterpart.
For the full cycle: we run all three tools with you — from diagnosing what's broken, through building the right pitch, to rehearsing the live delivery. End to end.
The engine
All three tools share the same engine — a multi-layer graph of 28 psychological and social principles mapping how they activate, conflict, and amplify each other across different audiences and contexts.
The Hjernevenligt knowledge graph — principle relationships, moderators & synergy clusters
We work with organisations across the full influence journey — from a one-off message diagnosis to embedded advisory spanning all three tools.
Direct access to the tool suite. Run your own diagnoses, compose recipient-matched messages, and rehearse live situations independently.
A focused 2–4 week engagement. We run the right tool together on a specific message, pitch, or communication challenge.
Ongoing access to Hjernevenligt expertise. Regular sessions, priority support, and continuous improvement of your influence capability.
We train your team to work the full suite independently — including methodology handover and internal certification.
About us
Hjernevenligt was founded on a simple observation: most communication fails not because of bad creative, but because of a missing analytical layer between intent and execution.
We built a suite of three tools to close that gap — each targeting a different communication case, all grounded in the same multi-layer knowledge graph of psychological and social principles developed over years of applied work with commercial organisations across the Nordic region.
We work with marketing directors, CMOs, and communication leads who are serious about understanding why their messages land — or don't. Not as a one-off audit, but as a repeatable capability.
Applied influence intelligence is not a tagline. It's a practice.
